NeilPryde Atlas Windsurf Sail 2020
IN A NUTSHELL...
Back in the range, the Atlas offers a predictable, stable and friendly ride, ideal to use in on-shore wave conditions. Early to plane, the Atlas is up and ready to get into the action with efficient, usable power at all times. Featuring great upwind ability and acceleration, the Atlas pushes hard, when conditions are less than ideal and its high lift characteristics propel you up high in the air during jumps.

Design details
Sizes: 4.2 | 4.6 | 5.0 | 5.4 | 5.8 | 6.2
Power and acceleration: Hight draft distribution combined with deep profile generates drive for constant and early planing.
Upwind Performance: high leech tension alowing the sail to power up quickly in minimum wind condition, by creating some lift even in the head of the sail.
Control and stability: 5 Battens layout keep the profile stable even on strong winds. The even twist provides optimum response, releases any exessive pressure and reduces backhand overload.
TECHNOLOGY
Atlas
* Ultra-Web
* Powerfuse
* Clear window
* Twin seams
ULTRA SCRIM
- PREMIUM REINFORCED RIP-STOP SCRIM LAMINATE.
- Featuring Ultra High Molecular Density yarns.
- Balanced uni-directional strength characteristics.
- 25% lighter than Ultra Web. 2x stronger than traditional scrims.
ULTRA WEB
Ultra high Molecular Density yarns at +/-40 degrees. This rip-stop web has the same breaking strength of KevlarTM but offers much better UV resistance. 40% stronger than traditional Polyester X-Ply.
CUSTOM PRINTING
Our exclusive custom printing technology allows us to print the films prior to lamination, giving us the flexibility to use UV resistant multi-coloured custom graphics. The print is of minimal thickness, reducing weight and producing a higher definition of colour. During lamination, the printed side is placed on the inside of the film, which drastically reduces wear and tear. NeilPryde 2020 sails' colors are made to last an eternity.
FUSE POCKETS
We have taken out traditional, seperate batten pockets by overlapping body panels to efficiently create a sleeve for battens. This reduces unnecessary weight, simplifies construction and creates a fully symmetrical batten cavity, eliminating the tendency of traditional batten pockets to load differently from one tack to another.
TWIN SEAMS
Double stitching is used on all critical seams across our sails, allowing them to endure prolonged exposure to high loads and impacts.
