The Top Spin II ACE is the first ENSIS wing to join the ACE range, and the first to use Dyneema – a fibre 15 times stronger than steel yet light enough to float on water. Used through the leading edge and strut, Dyneema lets ENSIS build an incredibly slim, tapered airframe that holds its shape fully powered, cutting weight without giving up an ounce of rigidity.
Two years of testing with team rider Balz Müller went into getting this right, and it shows: the Top Spin II ACE is fast and smooth in the air, direct underhand, and stays composed even when the wind picks up hard. The stiff Dyneema frame delivers early lift and drive with minimal pumping, making it a genuinely strong light-wind performer, while the boom lets you place your hands exactly where you want for intuitive, responsive control through manoeuvres. Wingtip stabilisers and soft mini-battens on the trailing edge keep flutter in check and hold the wing’s shape under load, and the same ENSIS Click Fix mounting system used across the range means the boom clicks on fast and stays rock solid.
Because Dyneema needs fewer seams and less reinforcement than a standard Dacron airframe, and the boom itself only needs two attachment points to the strut, the finished wing comes in significantly lighter than a comparable Dacron design – noticeable the moment you pick it up, and even more noticeable through a full session. A twist-lock inflation valve and dedicated strut deflate valve keep rigging and pack-down quick, and the boom is available in aluminium (grey) or the newer, lighter carbon version with a blue pad.
Delivered as a full wing set with an adjustable backpack, wrist leash, ENSIS tool, valve adapter and repair kit. Note: the boom itself is sold separately. Available in five sizes from 3.0 to 6.5m², the Top Spin II ACE is built for intermediate to expert riders who already know what they want from a wing and are ready to push further into freeride, wave, downwind and race-pace sessions.
