Foil Wings
Engineered for power, ease of use and and control no matter the environment or skill level.
Foil Wings are the engine of wing foiling, creating power to move you across the water. Choose a wing to cruise, race, jump or ride waves or do a mixture of them all.
Foil Wings are the driving force behind wing foiling, delivering the power and control needed to get up on foil and ride efficiently in all conditions. Designed for freeride, wave, freestyle, race, and downwind riding, modern foil wings combine lightweight construction, balanced handling, and efficient power delivery to maximise performance on the water.
Whether you are learning your first tacks or pushing high-speed runs and jumps, today’s foil wings are built with refined canopy tension, rigid leading edges, and ergonomic handle or boom systems for improved control and comfort. Larger wings provide early power and stability in lighter winds, while smaller wings offer greater speed, manoeuvrability, and control when conditions become stronger.
At King of Watersports, we stock Foil Wings from leading brands including Duotone, F-ONE, North, Naish, Ozone, Cabrinha, and Slingshot. From lightweight freeride wings to high-performance race and wave models, our range is designed to help every rider progress and enjoy more time on foil. What size wing do I need?
It will vary on your size and the wind strength you anticipate to be going out in. For most adult (65 – 85kg) beginners a 5m wing is a great place to start. If you are bigger or smaller or will be going out in light or stronger winds then you may need to size up by 1 meter either way.
-
Do I need more than one wing?
No. Wings have a really good wind range but when you are either over or underpowered it will be hard to have good technique. Having a second or third wing will give you a bigger range of wind strengths you can be comfortable in. Usually about a 1 or 1.5m gap between sizes is right.

What’s the difference between beginner and advanced wings?
Beginner wings focus on stability and easy power delivery, with softer handles and more forgiving canopy tension.
Advanced wings are lighter, stiffer and faster, offering more direct power, better upwind drive and efficiency for jumps or racing. You can learn on either but some entry wings will not give the full performance or a higher spec wing.

What’s the difference between handles and booms?
Soft handles: light, comfortable, and ideal for beginners — easy on the hands.
Rigid handles: more direct and responsive feel, popular for jumping and racing.
Booms: a single solid bar that offers infinite hand placement and precision steering, often favoured by advanced riders.

What pressure should I pump my wing to?
Check the brand label near the inflation valve — most inflate between 6–9 psi depending on size and material. Higher pressure = stiffer frame = better performance, but never exceed the manufacturer’s limit.
