FREERIDE / FREESTYLE / WAVE
The Score Boom carries over everything riders already love about the third-generation ENSIS Score – the lightweight hybrid Dacron construction, the perfectly balanced handling, the rock-solid stability – and pairs it with the ENSIS boom for anyone who prefers the freedom of unrestricted hand placement over fixed handles.
The hybrid leading edge uses stiffer Dacron through the centre and lighter Dacron in the wingtips, cutting swing weight and making the Score noticeably easier to throw around and hold overhead than a standard Dacron wing. Add in the egg-shaped, ergonomic ENSIS boom – available in aluminium or carbon – and you get a direct, familiar connection to the wing that windsurfers in particular tend to click with straight away, plus the freedom to place your harness lines exactly where you want them.
Take-offs are smooth whether you’re pumping actively or just letting the forward drive do the work, and the stiff frame with high canopy tension means the Score Boom keeps its power in light wind without losing composure once it fills in. The reworked window layout keeps your view clear at crowded launches, and the wing stays settled and predictable when flagged out riding swell or heading downwind.
Note: the boom is sold separately, available in 85cm, 108cm and 118cm lengths depending on wing size. Available across seven sizes from 2.8 to 6.6m², the Score Boom suits riders of every level looking for a genuinely versatile freeride, freestyle and wave wing.
