The Double Ace is loaded with features designed to make you the fastest thing on the water. Every detail has been developed for aerodynamic efficiency: a full double-skin canopy, ENSIS’s unique Ram Air Intake System, and the brand’s most advanced airframe yet, built with Dyneema. The result is a wing engineered for competitive Formula Wing racing – excellent upwind angles, strong downwind performance, and serious speed right across the course.

The Ram Air Intake System is a genuine ENSIS innovation: one-way air inlets maintain optimal pressure between the two canopy layers, closing as back-pressure builds to keep the profile clean, stable and efficient under load – while also helping keep water out of the canopy if you crash. If water does get in, an integrated drainage system at the strut base and wingtips lets it drain straight back out for a fast recovery. A carbon “powerband” stringer along the leading edge adds rigidity without adding bulk, meaning ENSIS could build an unusually slim leading edge without giving up structural stability – and despite the double-skin construction, the Double Ace stays impressively light, in the same ballpark as many single-skin wings.

The Double Ace is a registered series production wing under World Sailing regulations, making it eligible for IWSA Formula Wing events and international wingfoil racing. Note: the boom is sold separately, available in carbon at 108cm or 118cm depending on size. Available in five sizes from 3.5 to 7.4m2, the Double Ace is built for advanced to expert riders training or racing at a competitive level – or any ambitious rider who wants race-level speed and stability in a freeride wing.
