Whether you’re refreshing a well-loved board or setting up a new deck, choose adjustable straps for a secure fit and cushioned pads for shock absorption and grip.

Fit & sizing: Look for bindings with multiple strap adjustments to accommodate foot shape and booties. If you’re between sizes, prioritise mid-strap adjustability and toe ramp position so you can fine-tune hold without pressure points. Riders with narrower feet typically prefer a slightly tighter strap with softer pads; wider feet often pair best with a more open strap and deeper heel cup.

Stance & angles: Start near shoulder-width and experiment ±1 cm for comfort and pop. Common angle baselines are +15° / −15° for all-round riding; tweak a few degrees either way for knees and riding direction. Re-check pad placement after your first session—small changes in pad rotation can noticeably improve comfort.

Board compatibility: Most modern boards accept standard strap/pad hole patterns; if you’re unsure, we’ll confirm hardware and spacing before you buy. Fresh hardware helps stop creaks and keeps everything tight—add thread-safe washers if your current bolts are worn.
