Line length made simple
Shorter lines (around 20–22 m) tighten turning and improve drift for waves and foiling. Standard lengths are the best all-rounder for freeride. Longer sets can add upwind efficiency and a touch more hangtime. Ride mixed spots? Start with a base set plus 2–4 m extensions so you can adapt quickly.

Pick the right bar width
Match bar width to your typical kite sizes for balanced handling. Narrower bars pair with smaller kites to avoid over-steer; wider bars stabilise larger kites for predictable input and comfortable bar pressure.

When to replace lines
Inspect for frays, glazing, flat spots or uneven stretch—especially on the centre and safety line, which work hardest. Replace early to keep your kite flying true and ensure the safety system flags out cleanly when needed.
