Choosing size & wind range
Match kite size to rider weight, board type and average wind. Heavier riders or lighter winds call for larger kites; lighter riders or stronger winds suit smaller sizes. If your wind is variable, build a two- or three-kite quiver with overlapping ranges to avoid gaps.

Riding styles

Freeride / all-round: easy relaunch, wide depower and forgiving handling for everyday progression.

Big air / boosting: strong upwind drive, efficient canopy and explosive lift with controlled hangtime.
