Core Foil Boards
Compact Core Foil boards for speed, glide & early lift
Core Foil Boards are the perfect choice for anyone looking to take their foil Boarding to the next level. These boards are designed to offer optimal performance and stability, enabling riders to glide effortlessly over the water’s surface. Core’s Foil Boards are made from the latest materials and engineered with cutting-edge technology, ensuring they are lightweight, durable, and highly efficient.
Core Foil Boards turn low drag into stable lift, smooth touchdowns and confident control—whether you’re wing foiling or kitefoiling. This collection includes compact low-volume boards for kite, plus higher-volume wing boards with balanced shapes, durable pads and 90 mm track mounts to fine-tune your mast position.
Wing foil board sizing (by volume)
Match litres to rider weight, wind and start technique. Learning or light wind? Aim around body-weight in litres (or a touch above) for easy knee starts and stability. As your take-offs improve, you can size down for liveliness without sacrificing early lift.
Kitefoil board sizing (low volume)
Kite power helps waterstarts, so most kitefoilers choose low-volume boards for a direct, agile feel once flying. Go a little bigger if your wind is marginal or you’re new—extra float smooths touchdowns and lulls without feeling boaty.
Length, width & bottom shape
Shorter lengths reduce swing-weight for quick pitch response; a bit of extra width steadies knee starts. Bevelled/chined rails and subtle nose rocker soften touchdowns and release cleanly back onto foil.
Mounts & compatibility
Core boards use 90 mm twin tracks for plate-mount foils. Start with the mast centred; move forward for earlier lift and lower stall speed, or back for more top-end stability. We’ll confirm bolt length, plate footprint and any shim needs for your mast and fuselage.
Straps & stance
Wing: go strapless for freedom or fit 2/3-strap setups; start around shoulder-width stance.
Kite: many riders like a single angled front strap and a centred rear; adjust ±1 cm for knees and leverage.
Construction & feel
Carbon-reinforced laminates deliver stiffness and crisp feedback; composite layups ride smooth and offer robust durability for everyday sessions.
Setup tips
If the nose wants to rise, move the mast back or reduce stabiliser size.
If take-off feels late, slide the mast forward a few millimetres.
Re-torque hardware after your first session; rinse bolts to prevent creaks.
