Core Bar & Lines

Core Bar and Lines are the heart of your kite’s control system, delivering crisp steering, smooth sheeting and reliable safety. In this collection you’ll find complete control bars, premium flying line sets and the small but essential spares—replacement centre/depower lines, safety (flag-out) lines, extensions and pigtails—so you can restore performance or fine-tune your setup for local conditions.

Line length made simple
Shorter lines (around 20–22 m) tighten turning and improve drift for waves and foiling. Standard lengths are the best all-rounder for freeride. Longer sets add upwind efficiency and a touch more hangtime. Ride mixed conditions? Use a base set with 2–4 m extensions so you can adjust quickly.

Pick the right bar width
Match bar width to your usual kite sizes. Narrower bars pair with smaller kites to avoid over-steer; wider bars suit larger kites for steadier, more predictable input. The goal is balanced handling and consistent feedback.

When to replace lines
Inspect for frays, glazing, flat spots or uneven stretch—especially on the centre and safety line, which work hardest. Replacing early keeps your kite flying true and ensures the safety system flags out cleanly.

Compatibility help
Not sure which bar or spare fits your kite and model year? Message us with your kite sizes and season—our riding team will confirm compatibility and suggest line lengths for your wind range. All items here are genuine Core (and selected compatible parts where noted) for consistent feel and durability.
