Choosing size & wind range
Match kite size to rider weight, board type and average wind. Heavier riders or lighter winds call for larger kites; lighter riders or stronger winds suit smaller sizes. If your wind is variable, build a two- or three-kite quiver with overlapping ranges to avoid gaps.

Riding styles:

• Freeride / all-round: easy relaunch, wide depower and forgiving handling—ideal for progression and everyday sessions
• Big air / boosting: efficient upwind drive, solid canopy feel and explosive lift with controlled hangtime
• Waves / foil: light, reactive steering with stable drift and smooth sheeting for on-off power

Construction & feel

Bar, lines & setup
Pair your kite with the recommended bar and appropriate line lengths for your conditions (shorter for waves/foiling and tighter loops, standard for all-round freeride). Check pigtail settings and bridle condition periodically for consistent performance.

Safety & maintenance
Inflate to the stated PSI, inspect valves and leading edge for wear, and rinse after sandy sessions. Early maintenance prevents leaks and keeps relaunch smooth.
