SUP Paddles

Standing on flat ground, hold your paddle vertically — the handle should reach roughly wrist height when your arm is extended overhead.
For touring or racing, a slightly longer paddle (+1–2 inches) increases reach and speed.
For surf or shorter riders, a slightly shorter paddle gives better manoeuvrability and control.

• Carbon: the lightest and stiffest — delivers maximum efficiency and power with minimal fatigue.

If you paddle often, upgrading to a carbon or hybrid (carbon shaft / nylon blade) paddle makes a big difference.

As a rule of thumb, your paddle should be about 8–10 inches (20–25 cm) taller than you.
