Paddleboarding — or SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) — is one of the easiest and most versatile watersports. You stand or kneel on a large board and use a paddle to glide across the water — from calm lakes and canals to waves and coastlines.

• Inflatable SUPs (iSUPs): lightweight, portable and durable — ideal for beginners, families and travellers.

• Hard boards: stiffer and faster for performance riders, racing or surfing.

Inflatables are the most popular choice because they pack into a bag and are easy to store or transport.

Around 10’4” – 10’4” all-round inflatable SUP around 32” – 34″ wide is ideal — super stable, easy to balance, and versatile for flat water or small surf. It’s the go-to size for most families and first-time paddlers.

Most inflatable boards perform best at 15–18 PSI.
Check your board’s valve label — overinflating can damage seams, while underinflating makes it feel soft and unstable.
