Rusty Slayer Surfboard 2014
IN A NUTSHELL...
Josh Kerr's go-to board in bigger surf. He used it in Fiji, Tahiti, and the Pipe Masters in the 2013 campaign.
Design details
Part of the Kerrlection series, the slayer is designed as a step-up with four inches taken off at the front end. The wide point is now two inches forward of center instead of two inches back, giving you a little longer rail line yet more control for those tight pockets. And a touch of width to the center, re-blend the front end, giving the board a little fuller nose and relaxed rocker. This combination allows it to paddle well, make drops and fit you into the barrel.
SPECIFICATIONS: Pulling the wide point forward gives you a rail line that feels a little longer yet offers you more control with less board up front. Proven track record. Feedback is super positive. Little tool, big job.
Fins: 3,4,5 Experience: Intermediate to Expert Ideal Wave Size: Overhead to Double-overhead
RIDER TESTIMONIALS: “The Slayer goes really fast, turns on a dime, has a lot of flow… a really easy board to ride. It’s kind of what I need. Works great in the barrel too. Wide nose. Narrow Tail. It’s perfect!” - Josh Kerr, Australia
