The V4 has been improved throughout, with lighter bar feeling and reduced aspect-ratio to make it faster and more nippy in its steering.
For kiters who are used to the handling feel of an inflatable kite, the Hyperlink V4’s similar steering performance makes it the obvious choice when transitioning to using a foil kite.
By adding the Hyperlink V4 to your quiver you’ll enjoy incredible stability, light wind power and cross-over performance. The familiar handling feel will keep your adjustment time to a minimum, meaning you’ll be having more fun, more quickly.
MORE DYNAMIC HANDLING
The V4 incorporates Ozone’s signature Transverse Sail Shaping, ensuring a smoother aerodynamic profile and reducing air turbulence. The kite’s upper and lower surfaces are constructed from durable, lightweight, double rip-stop nylon with a water-shedding coating for improved aerodynamics and relaunch.
An optimised internal structure, with diagonal ribs and span-wise straps, ensures the profile maintains its shape under load, allowing consistent performance across all conditions.
FOR WATER AND SNOW The Hyperlink V4 is the ultimate cross-over foil kite, designed for both water and snow. Easily switch between 4-line closed cell mode and 5-line open cell mode:
4-LINE CLOSED CELL MODE The Hyperlink comes standard in 4-line Closed Cell Mode, which is recommended when using the kite on the water. It uses the same front line flag out safety system as our inflatable 4-line kites.
After pre-inflating the kite on the ground, the kite fully inflates itself in the air, offering responsive, intuitive steering that feels similar to an inflatable. This has been the hallmark of the Hyperlink range and why, for many, it’s the perfect first foil kite.
The new V4 model handles even faster and with more freeride and jumping capabilities, bringing it even closer to the feel of an inflatable kite.
RELAUNCH
Relaunch is also quick and easy in closed cell mode as water is kept out of the cells. To relaunch the Hyperlink just pull one line, using the relaunch ball and / or brake handle on the back leader lines.5-LINE OPEN CELL MODE
For safety, 5-Line Open Cell Mode is recommended when riding on snow or land. Due to the valves being open, inflation is also quicker.
Paired with the optional 5th line Internal Re-Ride Release System it allows for instant depower and safe self-landing, making it perfect for adventurous snowkiters. Simply relaunch again when you’re rested and ready to go again.

Transverse Sail Shaping
The Leading Edge now features Transverse Sail Shaping creating a cleaner surface on the most important area of the aerofoil. The result is less turbulent airflow and longer skin adhesion, which positively effects the lift to drag ratio increasing overall performance.
Leading Edge Profile Battens
The Leading Edge is reinforced with flexible lightweight plastic battens to maintain the shape of the profile during angle of attack changes and turbulent airflow. This drastically improves overall performance as the foil remains true to the designed shape.
High Performance Ultra Light Materials
Durable, airtight and lightweight double rip-stop Nylon material for the upper and lower surfaces. The material has a unique formulated coating to help shed water, improving flying characteristics and water re-launch.
Internal Diagonals and Straps
Internal span-wise straps work in unison with optimized diagonal ribs, distributing load from the bridles evenly and effectively. This increases the internal structural balance, while allowing the top and bottom surfaces to maintain the designed profile without being distorted from indirect tension or loads.
Water Drainage Channels & Valves
An internal channel is shaped into the end of each cell along the trailing edge. This allows loose sand or water to run between the cells and out of the tips during flight. Drainage valves at both wing tips seal to keep air in, and open up when water needs to drain out. The Velcro sealed tips can be opened for cleaning the kite. Always clean your kite by emptying any water, sand or dirt as this will prolong the life of the kite and help it fly as designed.

Using high spec low friction Ronstan Orbit pulleys to reduce wear and rider fatigue while improve feeling and performance of the kite.
