IN A NUTSHELL...
Twenty years ago, Liquid Force changed the definition of what a wakeboard should be with the original Trip. At the X Games in San Diego, Gregg Necrason piloted a radical new shape that featured a wider nose and tail than any board before. This is the 2019 take on that same board!
Design details
Now on its 20th season of delivering fun and stoke, the Trips are all newly designed! Back to the shaping bay, four new shapes were created from the original concept for larger, steeper wakes and more progressive riding for all abilities.
The new Trips have an even fuller tip shape for more pop than ever before. The D-I-S-C Hull has longer molded-in fins, that improves control and make transitioning from Novice to Advanced easier, when removing the centre. Added Rocker to the board makes these new Trips perform better on today’s bigger wakes. Drew Brophy, the original Trip artist, created new art for this series to celebrate the legacy and the future of our foundation of stoke, fun, and the love of riding!
