The 2019 JP Magic Ride Epoxy Sandwich is a stunning windsurf board that does everything you want from your freeride board – and they do it exceptionally well and exceptionally easy! Feeling playful and small, they sit high on the water, delivering the lively and sporty feel which makes windsurfing so exciting. They are fast, yet super easy to sail and control. British WINDSURF states that the Magic Ride is a master of the turn and feels so effortless and refined, even in the most challenging sea states.
All 7 of these wide, short and thin boards provide a high water position, giving them a lively, exciting ride and excellent performance.
The 97 and 103 are more stable and comfortable and are easier to control compared to Freestyle Waves of the same size. They also plane earlier and require less input from the rider. The 112, 119 and 130 are lively, agile, sporty freeriders which simply plane great, ride comfortably and gybe much easier than comparable, traditional freeride boards. The 142 and 154 are even more forgiving and comfortable and will also please intermediates. The two Magic Ride Family models come with a centre fin and 2/3 of the deck has an EVA Pad making them great boards for the whole family.
They all plane unbelievably early for their size. The performance and top speed of the 2nd shape generation also improved simply because of the light and easy handling when blasting along. Flying on the fin they provide directional stability and the vee and double concaves seem to iron out all chop. Comfort and control are impeccable.
Titled to be a master of the gybe, the Magic Rides are stunning to turn. Predictably, smoothly and incredibly easy they pretty much gybe by themselves. The ease and forgiveness will pamper the novice who will improve quickly. The rail bite provides confidence, so that the advanced rider will really push and corner with full dedication, now carving harder and tighter and exiting with more speed than ever before.
