The JP double layer edition will always be a first choice for the rough use environment, like the whitewater for example. The weight of our double layer edition inflatables is still lighter than what competition has to offer. The boards come in a rich and colorful design with a double-stroke high pressure pump and a new bag with a big zipper opening for easier packing and unpacking.

I had a great first session out on the CruisAir this morning with the dog on board too. The CruisAir far exceeded my expectation for speed and was super stable. This is an ideal flat water board for someone wanting stability and speed without compromise. At 30” wide, it’s stable without feeling like it’s oversized.
I enjoy paddling down rivers and around the harbour and I preferred this shape to the allround I had been using previously. If you want something for small waves and beach use as well, an allround will be ideal, but for inlets, rivers and open ocean this is ideal.
Something else worth mentioning is that this JP inflatable comes in a really nice simple bag. The bag is light and not bulky like some brands bags, which makes storage and carrying easy as can be. This might not be important for all, but as a short person, it’s nice not to have to walk to the beach with a bag bigger than yourself!
I’m no SUP pro, but I hope this review helps undecided beginners make the right choice of board. If you want a board for flat water I would really recommend the CruisAir as stable and performance driven.
