The 2019 Ion Strike Amp 4mm front zip wetsuit represents exceptional performance especially in terms of stretch. Ion have added a frontzip to this design so nothing will interfere with your paddle power.

Sweep Cut
Seam-free shoulder design for increased paddle reach and shoulder rotation.
Plasma Plush
Plasma Plush offers great heat retention, thanks to the looped fabric structure, which traps air for best insulation. Great stretch and quick drying.
Hot Stuff 2.0
The new Hot Stuff 2.0 comes with a plushier feel due to bigger loops. It is the most stretchy thermo lining in our range.
Maki Tape 2.0
Improved version of highly elastic neoprene tape securing every inch of lower body seams and highly stressed cuff area.
Fused edges on sleeve and leg ends
Seam Reinforcements
All stress points are reinforced and secured from the inside with Melco tape for increased lifespan. If you accidentally left the suit in the trunk of your car on a hot day, they can start to peel off. Don't panic! Gently use an iron over the affected area as the glue is activated by heat.
Contour Cut
To improve flexibility and comfort, all ION wetsuits come with the Contour Cut. It greatly enhances flex in the collar, wrists, elbows and insteps.
Seal Tite
A narrow rubber strip on the cuffs of the leg and arm ends, as well as on the collar. Ensures a better sealing and prevents the material from leaking.
Drain Holes
In order to combat water accumulation inside the wetsuit we assure that quick water release is provided when needed. The Drain Holes are secured in place from the inside and won't expand.
Leg Loop
All ION Strike with long legs are coming with detachable velcro Leg_Loops and plush panels above the ankle. The loops can be wrapped tightly around the ankle to prevent water from rushing into the suit. To avoid loosing the Leg Loops whilst on the water, they come with a unique construction of extra strong velcro. If you choose not to use the velcro loops, they can be easily removed by hand. Front zip models don't have the plush panel, but do come with Leg Loops attached to the suit.
Internal Key Pocket
Enjoy the session and stop worrying about your keys. Just store them in the Key Pocket inside the wetsuit at the backzip. Please note, only store water resistant keys in order to avoid any damage.
Ninja Spine
Same concept as for the Ninja Knees. A small strip is inserted between the back and the buttock panel giving your upper body freedom to rotate and more stretch for paddling.
Ninja Knee
The new Ninja Knees feature uses the same highly elastic materials as used in the arm panels. The result is astonishing with awesome freedom of movement, especially when bending the knees.
