Design details

The Open Water Race Board is built to master rough and choppy conditions. This Race allrounder ensures with its ergonomic outline for little traction and impresses with an optimal ratio between control and agility.
Highlights:
Round Pin Tail: The best mix of control and maneuverability. Thanks to the narrow and rounded tail the board has a great sliding capability and stays very agile in up- and downwind courses.

Construction:
Lightweight construction with EPS-foam core and carbon lamination. Due to the modern and highly functional brushed-carbon-design, less paint is needed and therefore lets the board lose lots of weight.

Tech specs

Length: 14’0 / 426.7 cm | Width: 25’’ / 66 cm | Volume: 329 L Weight: 10.8 kg | Est Rider Weight: 60-100 kg
Scoop Rocker Line: The raised nose-scoop prevents plunging in all conditions, on the other hand the raised tail-rocker helps to let the board glide free in downwind courses and is easily and quickly turned.
Bottom: Acceleration, control and agility in the focus. The flat rounded V-nose, lets the board accelerate without resistance and dives gently up and down in the flow of the strokes. The double concave in the middle of the board provides a proper acceleration. The narrow and flat tail bottom completes this symbiosis and features excellent maneuverability in all conditions.
Volume distribution: Added value in the bow to prevent plunging and getting stuck. The middle part impresses with a low stand for a lot of stability and nearness to the water. The tail on the other hand is kept simple and reduced to provide easy turning and steering.
