F-One WTF?! Kiteboard 2024
IN A NUTSHELL...
The WTF?! has been meticulously crafted to be the ultimate freestyle competition tool, engineered to empower you to effortlessly execute even the most challenging tricks.
Design details
- Freestyle weapon with massive pop
- 5 sizes to suit all riders
- Total control during edging and landing
- Impressive comfort and stability
The WTF?! board is meticulously engineered, starting with a wood core reinforced with glass and carbon tapes to enhance load transmission for powerful pops. This construction not only ensures exceptional durability but also provides a secret to the smooth and controlled feel under your feet.
Featuring a unique rocker line, the WTF?! boasts a flatter section at the center for early planing, while the tips have increased rocker to ensure soft and easy landings. The seamless transition between these three rocker stages is crucial for precise edging, loading for pops, and achieving maximum amplitude.
Every aspect of the WTF?! design prioritizes not just delivering incredible pop but also effortless release and control. The versatile and comfortable board outline includes generously sized tips for launching tricks and stable landings, no matter how aggressive your maneuvers.
Inspired by our HRD rail design, the WTF?! incorporates thicker rails underfoot, providing maximum lift and balance when centered on the board. Towards the tips, the rail profile tapers to enhance grip.
The board's underside features numerous shaping details, including a central V-double concave, step channels on the sides, and tip channels. These features enhance grip, water release, speed, and control in all conditions, even at high speeds, while making landings smoother.
The deck of the board is perfectly flat, ensuring a consistent connection with your bindings, regardless of the brand you choose. This contributes to better control and simplifies the process of selecting compatible bindings.
Once you hit the water, you'll notice the board's exceptional speed and how effortless it is to ride. Pop is easily generated, and regardless of your speed or water conditions, you can confidently load up the edge for takeoff. Landings are consistently smooth, and the WTF?! is designed to help you nail your tricks with newfound precision.
The board is available in five sizes: 140×42.5cm, 138x42cm, 136×41.5cm in the Slim construction, featuring a thinner core for riders of smaller stature, and 130×39 cm and 127×37 cm for the Next Generation.
All sizes come equipped with four UNIBOX 50mm fins, known for enhancing speed and glide due to their streamlined profile.
Tech specs
DOUBLE CONCAVE STEP DESIGN
Double concave sections are designed to direct the water flow as much as possible so that when riding the concaves provide clearly superior grip.
The water is directed out during the landings, making the touch-down smoother and more stable and avoiding unwanted bouncing and sliding effects. The side step emphasizes the double concave effects and further adds to the grip for better edging.
3D DECK STRUCTURE
Board flex is tuned through both materials and shape.
The shape of the deck is especially engineered to make the board ultra-responsive between your legs for maximum drive and precision with the flex increasing progressively towards the tips for maximum pop and comfort.
TIP RECESS
It reduces the core’s volume and weight, and adds extra flexibility towards the tip of the board.
Combined with the other deck features, this makes the board stiff in the middle sections but with a nice flex towards the tips, making the drive very precise with a smooth riding feeling and extra pop for the jumps.
WOOD CORE
The wood forms the heart of your board and gives it most of its mechanical properties: strength, flex, and resilience (ability to return to its original shape).
In optimizing the wood thickness distribution, we always seek the best compromise between strength, stiffness, and weight to ensure you get the best of your board and maximum comfort.
UNIBOX FINS
The patented UNIBOX system and RESPONSE fins have a radical effect : the asymmetrical profile improves the general ride and early planing.
However, it is the flex of the RESPONSE fins that gives amazing rail-grip as well as pop and forgiveness on heavy freestyle landings.
