Combining our premium construction with the groundbreaking Apex shape, this innovative configuration combines a higher rocker, increased width and the unique Airush Venturi Concave. The result is a versatile ride that suits aggressive freeride and freestyle, while remaining easy to use and comfortable at speed.
The Apex Team is slightly more flexible than the Livewire team for increased comfort. The full high modulus Carbon Torsion layer works in conjunction with the key shape features, to tension as the board is twisted and loaded up, then responds immediately as the rider launches, creating the perfect boost. While the torsional orientation maximises pop, this biaxial carbon outer layer works together with the vertical sandwich wood core and unidirectional base laminate for a smooth ride and energy absorption when landing from big power tricks. The ultra-lightweight topsheet outer layer maintains durability without adding unnecessary weight.
The venture concave enhances early planning and suits a rider looking to ride slightly less powered or prefers the maximum efficiency of a board without channels. The Apex Team is the perfect high performance freestyle and aggressive freeride machine.
The 2016 Apex Team Board includes the 2016 Airush AFT Strap and Pad System, Premium G-10 Fins, and molded ergonomic board handle and hardware.
