A fresh breeze is sweeping across the watersports world – it's called Parawinging, and it’s changing the way riders foil. Fusing elements of wingfoiling and downwind foiling, Parawing technology offers an ultra-light, non-inflatable wing system that gives riders total freedom to ride wind and waves like never before.
At King of Watersports, we’re proud to be at the forefront of this new movement – offering expert advice and top-tier Parawing gear to help you get started, level up, and ride harder.

What is Parawinging?
Parawinging is a minimalistic, single-skin, non-inflatable wing – which the rider hold directly whilst stood on a foil board. The short lines and a control bar are unlike traditional inflatable wings and closer to a tradtional kitesurf kite but Parawing can be packed away while riding, letting you shift from wind propulsion to clean, unrestricted wave riding.
It’s this seamless transition between powered flight and wave riding that makes Parawinging so exciting – and why it’s rapidly becoming the go-to choice for adventurous foilers.

Why Parawinging?
Ultra-Light, Ultra-Free
Ditch the bulk. The compact Parawing is easy to carry, quick to deploy, and packs away mid-ride for pure downwind flow.
Designed for Progression
Parawinging offers an advanced riding experience for foilers who want more freedom, speed, and finesse.
Perfect for Downwind Explorers
Launch anywhere, chase rolling swells, and let the ocean carry you.
Full Wave Access
Ride swells without a wing in your hands – once up on foil, just stow the Parawing and surf freely.

What Do You Need to Start Parawinging?
At King of Watersports, we stock everything you need to get started with Parawinging:
• Parawings – Like the Ozone Pocket Rocket, Ensis Roger, Duotone Stash, Flysurfer POW, Naish Morph, engineered for performance and packability.
• Foil Boards – Long, narrow downwind boards like the F-One MidLength, Duotone Skybrid and Axis Hybrid for efficient glide.
• High-Aspect Foils – For maximum lift, speed, and pumping efficiency.
• Leashes & Accessories – Essential for safety, especially since Parawings don’t float.

Who is Parawinging For?
Parawinging is ideal for:
• Intermediate to advanced foilers
• Wingfoilers looking to evolve
• Riders exploring longer downwind runs
• Anyone craving a lighter, more dynamic ride
If you’ve got foil control dialled in and want a more fluid, versatile riding experience – Parawinging is your next step.
There are already disciplines for parawinging with Freeriding being the most prominant, this invloves starting at one spot and using the Parawing to go up wind and then packing it away to freely ride down wind. People have already looped them and as with every action sport Freestyle will grow. Waveriding with a stashed parawing is great but fallin with the lines in the waves can be scary. Full Downind Runs without a paddle are now possible - Use the parawing to get up on foil and stash it away to enjoy the rolling swell down wind. And im sure people will start Racing each other if they havent already.
