Takoon

Takoon was founded in 2002 by the legendary designer of the original inflatable kitesurf kite, Bruno Legaignoux. After Bruno’s early success with Wipika he decided to fully expand his ideas and branch out further – Takoon was born. Since then Takoon kites have always been at the forefront of the industry, and have always pushed design to the next level. Not only did the Legaignoux Brothers invent the leading edge inflatable kite, but they also developed the whole bow kite concept back in 2002. After years of product testing Takoon unveiled the first production bow kite at the Paris Boat Show back in 2004 the infamous Takoon Nova. Since then Takoon have constantly been refining their bow kites to keep ahead of the game.
