The Vaavud wind meter turns your smartphone into a high-tech meteorological tool. Takes accurate wind readings, at wind speeds from 2 – 20 m/s (Up to 24 m/s on iPhone 5S and up to 48 m/s on some Android phones), with a precision of +/- 4%.

Design details
The design is inspired by professional cup anemometers, but with two cups instead of three, to make the device pocket friendly and super rugged.
The Mjolnir wind meter uses the magnetic field sensor in the phone, so the device contains no eletronics.
It comes with a practical neoprene bag so you can take it with you anywhere.
Works with the following devices: iPhone 5S, 5C, 5, 4S, 4 – iPad 2, 3rd and 4th generation mini and Air – Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, HTC One, Google Nexus 5 and many more.
THE VAAVUD APP
The Vaavud app gives you a clear overview of average, actual and maximum wind speed, as well as a real time graph – in fact the first real time graph in the world on a hand held anemometer! And you can scroll and pinch-zoom on the graph, if you want to taker a closer look at something.
The unit of measure can be changed on the fly by simply tapping the screen. (Available units: m/s, Kmh, mph, Kts and Bft.)
New features will constantly be added to the app. A live map, measurement history will be available soon, and much more will follow.
