LINE CONCEPT
The combination of our renowned Hot_Stuff lining and new Ninja Spine makes this suit the perfect blend of quality, comfort and protection. With improved positioning of the chest zip (not for zipless version) and additional tape sealing on the inside, this is a suit with so much swagger, it's up to you to do the performing.
SANITIZED TECHNOLOGY
Sanitized is a certified antibacterial fabric with active biocidal substance: zinc pyrithion treatment to prevent bad odor from bacteria, mildew etc. in moist or sweaty environments. This function is permanently integrated in selected ION items such as premium wetsuits, boots and shoes.

MAKI TAPE
Replacing the S SEAL at AMP level:
Every centimeter of each GBS seam is sealed with Neoprene tape on the inside! It offers remarkable stretch across the entire suit. The soft surface won't irritate your skin and provides additional sealing against water. In order to make the suit last longer, stitching is placed visibly on the outside where the load is heavy when bending or kneeing at the ground.
NINJA SPINE
By mimicking the concept of the Ninja Knees, we deliver the same freedom of movement to places we think it's necessary. By incorporating a small striped insert between the back and the buttock panels, more flexibility is provided for rotation and stretch.
NINJA KNEES
What's the one thing prospective wetsuit customers do at the shop? Yep, you guessed it! They pull on the wetsuit's arms. Here at ION we think the legs deserve the same attention, so the new Ninja Knees feature uses the same highly elastic materials as used in the arm panels. The result is astonishing with awesome freedom of movement, especially when bending the knees.
L-TEX PROTECTION
An erosion resistant protection that's printed onto the knee, varying in shape and size depending on the suit.
SEAM REINFORCEMENTS
All stress points that come under a lot of force are reinforced with either Melco_Tape on the inside seams, or rubber logo patches on the outside of the suit to prevent ripping.
SEAL TITE (COLLAR)
This single layer collar construction, provides perfect water sealing and outstanding comfort. The super smooth Glide Skin on the inside of the collar prevents skin irritations and seals the neck perfectly without choking. On the outside, an additional rubber like stripe is added on the collar rim to reduce water intrusion, whilst the higher collar protects against cold water and windchill.
SEAL TITE (WRIST/ANKLE)
A rubber like stripe print is provided around the inside of the wrists and ankles. This results in a tighter sealed fit which stops water from rushing into your suit and loosening of material around these areas.
CONTOUR CUT
To improve flexibility and comfort, all ION wetsuits come with the ION Contour Cut. It greatly enhances flex in the collar, wrists, elbows, insteps and the back of the knees.
DRAIN HOLES
All wetsuits that have the Water Gate Plus batwing panels have small holes in the lower back. This keeps the back area dry by allowing the water which has leaked in through the back zip to drain out. Drain Holes are also placed in the calf area to prevent water from getting stuck in a 'bubble' like fashion. In addition to this, ION front zip wetsuits also have Drain Holes in the chest and back panels.
KEY LOOP
No need to panic! All ION wetsuits are equipped with a clever key pocket, inside of which is an elasticated attachment. Depending on the model of the suit, this feature can be found on the calf, arm or other area. *Please note. Only store water resistant keys in order to avoid any damage.
