Design details

For 2014, F-ONE introduces its new PUSH SYSTEM safety release.

In some cases, the bar can get stuck 'sheeted in' against the release system during an emergency situation. The F-ONE safety release has a stopper at the top to allow enough room to activate the system in this most dangerous circumstance. This stopper also ensures your hands stay away from the bar when it’s turned at the maximum.

Easy to use, it can be triggered exactly the same by lefthanders or right-handers.

Designed with an ergonomic shape, the release handle is easy to grab to trigger the system. A flange was added to the top of the handle to improve the grip. This flange is made of soft material for the best comfort of use.

The new F-ONE safety release can be easily set-up with no specific tool required. It can be adapted onto the following kites: BANDITS 3/4/5/6/7, TRUST 2013/2014, VOLT 1 and 2 and REVOLT 3.

From the inception the new F-ONE safety release has been designed to withstand and work effectively under extreme loads, much higher than normally encountered while riding.

It was designed with high resistance materials including stainless steel reinforcements and fully optimized to make it completely reliable, ready to withstand the wear and tear of an extensive use.

The elastics where tested in extreme conditions and on more than 1000 release cycles in the lab. Moreover the F-ONE safety release system has proven it is able to hold loads up to 700kg.

Its new push-away system enables to trigger the release with minimal force even under the highest loads. A reduced force of less than 5kg is required to trigger the system when loaded at 200kg, while under the extreme load of 400kg, it is still possible to release with a force of 10.21kg*.
