James Boulding Filming in Fuerteventura

'August saw me packing again and heading out to Fuerteventura.  The aim of the next 6 months is to complete filming for a UK dvd featuring myself, Aaron Hadlow, Sam Light, Tom Court and a few friends we ride with along the way in various countries and events.  One segment we'd planned would be a rail project in Fuerte so everyone hooked up and got the build on the go.

There's an increasing number of slider events and rail projects going on nowadays and it's a big push of all of ours to get better in this discipline.  The plan was to build a thin and very long rail to hit in a shallow location making it very technical to hit.  It ended up about 12 metres in length and the width of a beer can.  Added with the fact that it was enclosed by rocks and only about a 10 metre landing before rocks you had to be on your game.

With solid big kite winds and flat water we had a good few days sessioning the rail and produced some great shots and footage with minimal kite and body damage!  Check out the upcoming Kiteworld and Kitesurf magazines for some shots of what went down and stay tuned for a web edit that's due to drop later in September.'
