The Profanity wakestyle board uses a unique vertical sandwich wood-polymer core, blending Paulownia wood sections with a PVC foam underlay for the ultimate reinforcement and precise flex placement. The new PVC core surround allows us to push the flex profile right out to the tips and gives a stronger, more durable core than either pure wood or foam constructions can provide on their own. It's the definition of bomb proof.
A single to double concave helps rail to rail progression and softens out the hardest of landings. Twin channels in the tips give you more straight line grip and allow you to run smaller fins without losing bite when you need it most. A deep section ABS rail system with a beveled rail profile protects the edge of your board from hook ups on rails and kickers, while a lightly waisted outline helps keep the spray under the board and not in your face no matter how hard you ride.
The Profanity is for wakestyle riders who want a faster, stiffer board with insane pop. It's built to handle the abuse that rails and kickers can hand down no matter how hard you ride, with bindings or straps, it's the ultimate wakestyle weapon.
Features
Vertical Sandwich core:
The profanity is our first board to use the new Vertical Sandwich core where we bond a laminated Paulownia wood core section to a high density foam base layer. This new construction allows us to blend the light weight and fast rebound of a wood core with the added strength and impact resistance of a foam core.
PVC Core Surround:
Our new PVC Core Surround design allows the flex pattern to be pushed right out into the tips giving you an incredibly stable platform between your bindings, providing insane pop for launching tricks. It also allows us to bevel the underside of the deck upwards by 1.5mm right across the rail, ensuring that no matter how you hit a slider you aren't going to catch your toe edge.
Twin Channel Tip:
A quick planing single to double concave bottom shape flows into a twin-channel tip, providing added lift for reduced drag and making the board easier to ride in lighter conditions. Our twin-channel also provides added straight line grip allowing you ride smaller fins or even finless for hitting kickers and sliders.
Controlled Flex Tips:
A great board needs progressive flex to be able to resist the low frequency impacts of heavy landings and still be able to soak up the high frequency chatter generated by riding through choppy water at speed. The Profanity does just that to give you the perfect blend of comfort and control.
Triax Lay-up:
The Profanity uses multiple weight bi-ax and uni-directional cloth in a ‘0 -45 +45’ layup to provide precise control of board flex, ensuring a lively feel and swift reaction to rider input. Added Biax cloth helps resist the additional torsional loads generated when wearing bindings so your Profanity will never feel like a wet noodle no matter how hard you charge.
Binding compatible inserts:
The Profanity is built from the ground up to take bindings, we've integrated a six inch insert spacing to accommodate the latest wakeboard bindings while still allowing you the option to run seven inch straps and pads if you aren't ready for bindings yet.
Lux Air Footpad & Footstraps V1
Our new 'Fit-Block' Pad connection system takes the strain out of fitting straps to your new board. A new composite reinforced connection block hooks onto each end of your straps and makes fitting your straps a cinch; no more crossed threads or loose straps ever again.
With a wider range of adjustability due to the new strap connection system, the Fit-Block strap and pad set allows every rider to find the perfect fit for the way that they ride; adjusting strap tension and making angle adjustments has never been easier. If you are a regular traveler or have a selection of boards and want to swap straps between boards, then there’s no better choice than the Fit-Block strap.

After the first run of 2010 Sparks (sizes 130, 135, 140, easily identifiable by a red rail), board inserts were changed from Imperial to Metric. All Best Boards going forward will come with Metric Inserts.
As a result, our 2010 Footstraps will soon become equipped with Metric screws (as imperial production is phased out), so be aware that there may be some overlap.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT, if you are ordering footstraps for ANY OLD MODEL BEST BOARD, that you indicate to your salesrep, or order-taker, or on your order, that you will need IMPERIAL SCREWS.

- the second run of 2010 Sparks and all Sparks going forward, All size 124 Sparks (identifiable by matching rail colors). Additionally, these board have the words "Use metric screws only on all inserts" printed between each footstrap insert.
- all Balance Boards and Armada Boards
- any Best board from 2010 and on (except for red-rail 2010 Sparks).
