Great idea. Why did we have to wait so long for someone to bring out one helmet that can be used across various sports in winter and summer? Dennis Leedom, one of the founders of Bern Unlimited helped build the winter sport helmet market in the U.S by his vision of one helmet/ multiple sports. The concept for his company Bern Unlimited is pretty simple: multiple liners that can be used in one helmet regardless of temperature or sport. So you can use the knit liner for snowboarding, aquatic liners for water sports like kayaking and wakeboarding, and the regular liner for skate, BMX etc.

 

With less than 50% of extreme sports enthusiasts using head protection there is massive potential for growth and Bern offers something for everyone, a great cross over product that doesn’t break the bank.
